If it is activating properly and the washer wonâ t drain the next step would normally be to access the switch and place an insulated jumper wire in the disconnect plug to simulate a closed lid switch.

The lid lock is there for safety reasons.

Initially the washer starts with adding some water then stopping to lock the lid in which then it clicks 4 5 times and shuts down.
Lower the assembly carefully and let it dangle freely from its wire harness at around chest level.
I stupidly got frustrated that it was taking forever to unlock and forced the lid open.
Remove the lid lock switch assembly.
Now it keeps clicking wont lock and this won t spin.
